Lessons
TopNotch's lesson program is simple.... We are about the quality of the ride rather than a quantity of students.
Our lesson program is catered to each individual rider. When you arrive, we set goals to accomplish and time lines to achieve them. Riders vary from those wanting to learn the aspects of riding for pleasure to ones wanting to take it to the next level in the show pen.
Our lesson horses are the best in the area; either being retired show horses or old souls that love to teach. So many times a rider can learn more from the horse than they realize and our horses attribute to more confident riders in and out of the arena.
Our barn also creates a family friendly atmosphere where you can feel safe with leaving your child or inviting for you to come and hang out with us for the day.
Call today to visit the barn and even watch a lesson.

We love our lesson horses
""Thank a lesson horse-they do not complain when an unbalanced first time rider mouths for their lesson. They are a calming force for the most of timid riders, promising safety and security. They are patient and kind, allowing riders to grow and evolve in a safe space without fear of making mistakes. They take the brunt of your "bad day" emotions without complaint. They would have every right not to perform or act out, yet they are gracious enough to be a shoulder to cry on. They have the remarkable ability to sense your insecurities and needs, and provide you with the exact ride that you need that day. To teach the lessons you need in that moments, lessons that you didn't know you needed to learn. Even on the frustrating days, "when the lesson horse isn't listening" they don't take your accusations to heart. They continue on with their masterful plans to instill humility, critical thinking, and grace in their partner- and you will understand that they are always listening and they are always right. So when you see a lesson horse, thank them. Give them peppermints, a warm hug, a good scratch...They are the backbone of our industry and the foundation for future equestrians"
We also have horses available for lease if owning a horse is an option for you.
